TELUS Health Companion provides older Canadians and their families added peace of mind with 24/7 access to live emergency support at the push of a button and automatic fall detection via an Apple Watch. More than an app, it provides the comfort of human connection during a medical emergency.

FEATURES:
One-button connection to live operator support in the event of medical emergency.

24/7 live support: In the event of an emergency a trained operator will be in direct contact with you to assess the situation and provide the appropriate response. They can dispatch first responders to your location if needed and/or notify emergency contacts if desired.

Automatic Fall Detection: If a fall is detected by your Apple Watch, you will receive a call from a live, trained operator who can determine the appropriate course of action.

FAQ’s:
The Apple Watch already has Fall Detection. How is this different?
• By overlaying TELUS Health Companion on this existing design, customers will have added peace of mind and the comfort of human interaction during a medical emergency.

Does my iPhone need to be with me at all times in order for me to stay connected to help on the Apple Watch?
• No, if you have a cellular-enabled Apple Watch with a data connect / share plan, or if you can connect to WiFi, our trained operators can contact you by calling your watch.

Do I need to buy a new Apple Watch, or can I add the TELUS Health Companion service to an existing Apple Watch?
• You can add the service to an existing qualified Apple Watch, as long as the Apple Watch is paired to your personal iPhone (i.e. the Watch and iPhone must share the same phone number).

NOTES:
• TELUS Health Companion requires an Apple Watch.
• TELUS Health Companion integrates with the Apple Health app.
